Best new movies to stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Max (HBO), and more

It had been a slow August for our list of the best movies to stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Max (HBO), and other services, but that all changes this week. Hopefully, it’s raining in your neck of the woods because there are a whopping six new additions across four streaming platforms! (Not to mention all the other movies you still have to catch up on.)

This week is highlighted by George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga arriving on Max. After that, Netflix adds a blockbuster thriller and a Jeff Goldblum thought-provoker, Hulu serves up yet another foreign hit and a Sydney Sweeney horror flick, and Prime Video delivers a comedy starring John Cena and Awkwafina.
